Surbhi Gautam of University Topper and Gold Medalist Satna was ranked 50th in the 2016 Civil Services Examination. He studied up to 12th standard from the Hindi Medium School in the village.

Surabhi is a befitting reply for those who are either ashamed of their Hindi or who consider Hindi to be very passed away, but Surabhi proudly says that her studies from first to twelfth from Hindi Medium School happened.

Surabhi Gautam IAS Success Story

Surbhi Gautam, who grew up in Amara, a small village in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, is an IAS officer today.
When she sits on her high chair in her luxurious office, she surely remembers the days of school in her village when she used to sit and study on the tat-band.
Surabhi remembers those moments because from there she had big dreams for herself and intended to fly high in her career.

Surabhi’s father is a lawyer in Maihar Civil Court and her mother Sushila Gautam is a teacher.
Despite this, till the 12th standard of Surabhi, education took place in a very backward school in the village, where neither there were good teachers nor books were available at any time.
Electricity was also in a bad condition in the village, sometimes it used to come, sometimes there was a full day, in such a way, Surabhi used to study at night by running a lantern.
Surabhi’s parents guided her in every situation. Surabhi never took tuition for any subject. He achieved everything from the self-study. In class 10, Surabhi had scored 93.4 per cent marks and expressed that she would do something big.

“My school and the education system there was very bad. If there was no school, then the responsibility of writing my studies was on me and my parents. I always thought that I would get a good school too, I wish I had a school bus, I went to school wearing uniforms, but I don’t regret it, because my lack made me ambitious and I tried to do the best in every field. “

After passing the 12th, Surabhi gave the entrance exam of State Engineering. He got very good numbers on it. Now he had to come to the city for further studies.
Surabhi came to Bhopal and did her engineering in Electronics and Communications from a government college here. Along with winning the gold medal at Surabhi College, she was also a topper of the university.

After college, Surabhi’s first placement took place at Tata Consultancy, but she did not join the job there.
She joined BARC i.e. Bhabha Atomic Research Center and worked as a nuclear scientist for one year. He got second place in All India at getting ISRO.
Also passed SAIL (Steel Authority of India) examination. Passed MPPSC Pre, SSC, LGL, Delhi Police, and ACI examinations with good numbers.
In the 2013 IES exam, Surabhi got All India First rank and after all, she got All India’s 50th rank in the 2016 IAS exam. Surabhi, based on her hard work, proved her mettle in every test.
