But today we are going to introduce a UPSC topper which I think maybe you can’t hear about him but he deserves to be famous because Ansar Shaikh IAS is the youngest IAS officer of India.

Ansar Shaikh IAS Background
The background of Ansar Shaikh IAS was not so good. He belonged to a below poverty line family. His father Younus sheik Ahmad worked as an autorickshaw driver.
He has continued any study without even thinking of what he wants to make in the future. One day a person demands a bribe from his father then because of this incident he decided to be an IAS officer to eliminate this bribe system.
He didn’t pass the Maharastra PCS exam but he cracked one of the toughest exams i.e. UPSC in his first attempt secured AIR 361 in 2015. He is the first IAS in his entire generation.
Ansar Ahmad Shaikh success strategy for UPSC CSE/IAS preparation
First of all the quote which inspired him the most is:-
“Hatho ki lakiro pe mat ja ai galib
Naseeb to unke bhi hote hain, jin ke hath nhi hote”.
He decided for becoming an IAS in 2010. He started his preparation from July 2013 to May 2016. Starting first 6 months, he devoted all his time to his optional subject i.e Pol. Sci.
Then next 6 months he prepared GS except for an Essay. Next 3 months he revised all the things plus the mains remaining things. Next 9 months he prepared for Prelims.
He said if you are an undergraduate and if you are the first attempter of UPSC then you should give at least 9 months for the preparation of prelims. After cleared the Prelims exam he had 100 days to prepare for Mains.
Then he started his preparation and spend 50% time on reading and revision and 50% time on writing. He generally studies 10-12 hours per day but in these 100 days, he studied 14-15 hours.
He cleared his Mains exam on 19 February 2016. His medium is Marathi. after this, he started preparing for the interview in the rest 40 days.

There are 3 stages in UPSC.
Prelims: Info, Accuracy, Practice
Mains: Knowledge, Expression, Practice
Interview: You(What is your thinking).

The reason behind his Early Success
He revealed the reason behind his early success that everyone should know. He said that you should understand the mindset of the examiner, What is the motive of the examiner behind the particular questions, or what he wants the answer from you.
UPSC has 3 stages you should know the demand for all the three stages of UPSC from you. You should know the previous year’s question paper patterns.
There is a link between the previous year’s questions with the current one. Then you should follow your weaknesses and work on them. Then find your strength and make them better. You should practice as many questions as you can.
